  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out one sheet of thawed puff pastry to a 1/8-inch thickness. Cut the pastry into 4 squares (about 5 inches each).
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center of each square. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling, pinching to seal tightly.
  5. Place the filled chicken pillows seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops lightly with a beaten egg (optional).
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pillows are p■ up and golden brown.
  7. While the chicken pillows are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
