Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and browned.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, shredded carrots, and chopped green onions. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
  4. In a deep frying pan, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Shape the wonton wrappers into taco shells by gently pressing them into the cups of a muffin tin. Bake them at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or fry them directly in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Once the wonton shells have cooled slightly, fill each shell with the chicken filling. Top with chopped cilantro, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of sweet chili sauce.
  7. Serve immediately.
