A delicious and easy-to-make appetizer that combines tender smoked chicken with a zesty garlic marinade, served on soft slider buns.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/4 cup honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons smoked paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
12 slider buns
1 cup coleslaw (optional, for added crunch and flavor)
Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and olive oil until well combined. Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F). Clean and lightly oil grill grates.
Remove chicken from marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after grilling.
Slice the grilled chicken thighs into strips suitable for sliders.
On each slider bun, place a generous portion of grilled chicken. Top with coleslaw if desired and garnish with cilantro or parsley.
