16 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
1/2 cup diced onion (optional)
1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
Tortilla chips for serving, as needed
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, undrained Rotel tomatoes, and diced onion (if using). Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
Add the garlic powder, chili powder, and cooked ground beef (if desired) to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.
Transfer the mixture to a medium-sized baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
