A flavor-packed dish that combines the richness of perfectly cooked steak with buttery garlic-infused shrimp, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 lb of pan-seared steak tips (ribeye or sirloin recommended)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, mix the smoked paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper with the olive oil to create a flavorful marinade. Add the steak tips and coat them thoroughly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak tips and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached. Transfer the steak to a plate and cover with foil.
In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium, add the unsalted butter, and let it melt. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
Introduce the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning them with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Add the lemon juice just before removing from heat.
Return the steak to the skillet to warm through for a minute while gently mixing everything together. Plate the steak and garlic butter shrimp, garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
